Buttons in the chat widget is not displaying properly or there's no scroller in web client

Issue: The agent is unable to view the chat widget controls/buttons at the bottom of the chat panel. There is no scroller is available to use in web client.

Resolution: Below is the list of available resolutions that the agent may follow.

1.  Check your screen resolution and ensure that it follows the minimum screen resolution required for CT Web Client.

Here’s the link to our online documentation for more details: https://docs.ctsuite.io/admin-guides-v3.x/ct-suite-requirements/agent

  1. Type Display Settings in the search bar from the Start Menu in the lower-left corner of your screen
  2. Click to open
  3. Scroll down to the Scale and Layout section and look for the resolution drop-down box. You may need to click on “Additional display settings” under Related settings to view this.

  1. The minimum should be 1280x800 but selecting the Recommended resolution would be the best option.

2.  Check your browser’s zoom settings and make the necessary adjustment.
  1. Click the vertical ellipsis.
  2. Check the zoom percentage and adjust to the browser's maximization that will display the web contents properly.

3. Collapse or pop out(open in a new window) the softphone widget.

To collapse, pop out (open in new window), or maximize, use the buttons in the upper right corner of the panel. The buttons at the bottom of the chat widget should be available and the scrollbar should appear as necessary.

4. Resize the chat widget panel or open it to a new window.

Same as the Softphone widget, chat widget can also be collapsed, pop out, or maximized by clicking the buttons available in the upper right corner of the panel.

Chat panel can be resized by hovering on the bottom or right border of the panel. Once the mouse cursor changes to this icon  , click and drag the border as necessary.

You may check this link for our online documentation for rearranging and popping pannels in or out.

5. Ensure that your browser's window is maximized to fit your laptop/desktop's screen.
